Hello vDreamers! First I’m proud to announce the winner of the most recent open car poll – the Mitsubishi Evo IX! The car will be released within a week! The Evo got a boat load of requests, ranging from the Evo VI all the way to the X, but we calculated the most requests were for the IX.
On to the poll winners!
Most Active: Bryan Camble, with 454 activity points. Bryan just started playing in January – it’s great to see new users heading up the most active category!

the “spiky things” came standard on the mr version the evo ix (which is the one you wanted to get)
they also came standard on the evo 8 mr fq400 (which was only done in england because mitsubishi uk took the evo viii mr and made it better with the fq320 fq360 and the fq400 variants)
and thats a ix up there. you can tell by the round openings by the intercooler. it’s just not an mr version.
hope the vdream evo ix is an mr fq360 version

there’re rumors saying the more you post in vd blogs and discussions, the more your vdi goes up. it will also increase the more often you change your underwear. but it doesn’t go up or down if you change the amount of beer you drink per week.

the turbo kit alone wont be able to create that power, there is so much more that goes into it. forged internals, upgraded pcm, larger injectors, bigger intercooler, larger throttle body, etc.

the arial atom uses either a honda B16B type R engine and supercharged to 300 hp. you could get a charger upgrade, breaks and any engine part compatable with a civic type r. also there is an optional 500 hp hyabusa v8 engine that could be upgraded. you wouldnt really need to do any suspention or weight upgrades but the thing would be fast even if it was stock.

How about a japanese supercar to rival the saleen and lambo? and no, I don’t mean some 1000 hp supra. I mean a lightweight, mid-engined, handles like God playing craps with loaded dice (I don’t know where that came from, but it is after midnight here…). It should be made by Honda, be offered in Type S, Type S-Zero, -R and -R GT variants, with a suspension and chassis tuned by Ayrton Senna… are those enough hints for you? We need an NSX in this game. If anybody questions the aftermarket for it, just look up scienceofspeed.com.

the lambo aint that exotic in the game. if it were a TT gallardo there are many reasons for the NSX to be made. the prob is that there arent euro rivals for the S7 in here and the euros are the kings of supercar manufacter

The Ariel Atom in the US has the Ecotech engine (from the Cobalt) and is supercharged. I’ve personally driven the car at VIR and that thing is quick until aerodynamics become an issue.
Anyway, there seems to be quite a few cars that are in their own class. Of course the Ram SRT10 doesn’t make sense if another truck won’t be in the picture just like the STI really didn’t make sense if the Evo wasn’t going to be there. There is one old muscle car and I know for a fact there is a certain Dodge muscle car in the system as well as a Jaguar (as well as two others). Why not let people have that car so there isn’t only one muscle car?

where’s the EVO? I would love to see an 05-06 RSX Type-S in the mix also. Why not go old school and add a Cyclone or Typhoon? The Typhoon was made from 91-93 and is still to this day the fastest production SUV stock for stock! I would vote a million times for a Cyclone or Typhoon.

1. Evo’s on the way, although a little behind schedule 2. RSX-s is cool, but it’s pretty similar to the Civic Si which is already in the game. 3. There recently was a vote for the SUV’s, the SRT-10 Ram beat the Cyclone/Typhoon. Maybe it’ll be here one day.
