    First, the sad story of an old video, and you have to watch the Youtube embed first. Every time I watch it I die a little inside. So supposedly, they used an impact gun to tighten the lugs, but they overstretched the studs. At the first sign of a heavier load (when he was breaking/cornering), they snapped, and what happened after that is history. What I’m wondering is… How do you overstretch EVERY stud? It sure seems that all five studs on all four wheels snapped pretty quickly. What a sad story.

    And now for some lighter news. Daniel, Yuriy, Josh, and Jordan have worked day in and day out approving a ton of part submissions and sending them to the vDream staff.     on the overstretching the studs issue, most of the impact sockets have a torque limiter on them, so that it will only allow you to put “x” lb/ft of torque on them before they reduce the effective power of the impact at a certain PSI. I imagine the guy forgot to take of the hardened steel socket and put on the color-coded socket. Those speed impacts put out soooo much force it isn’t hard to imagine.

    The elise, sti, and 350z most recently got a ton of parts and there are lots more on the way for quite a few more cars. Evo parts are certainly on the way, just a matter of time. Just keep an eye out for them!

    Thank God for the elise parts lol now to be all pushy and ungrateful for the new parts lol: we need tires good drag slicks vs street tires at the strip makes all the difference and im 90% sure that nascar and road racers dont use street tires eather (sarcasm for anyone who didnt catch that) lol any way, does anyone else think we need alternate tires too or am i the only one
