    Ever Since Forza came out, there has been great debating on Forza vs. Gran Turismo. Users (read: fanboys) of each series have vehemently argued back and forth about which of the two was better. This debate is almost as big as the PS3 vs. XBOX 360 debate.

    I was part of the camp that scoffed at the debaters, saying “forza 2 came out in 2007 for the xbox 360 console, while gt4 came out in 2005 for the PS2 console. of course forza 2 will have much better graphics, it’s on a better machine. Wait for GT5 to come out, wait for GT5 to come out… THEN you can compare Forza 2 to Gran Turismo – GT5.”

    Well, the boys over at Turn10 have announced the release of Forza THREE for October of this year. Watch the attached youtube video for a teaser. What about Polyphony Digital’s highly touted GT5? No one knows, but speculation says not until 2010. What does this mean? This means that Forza 2 and Forza 3 were both completed before GT5 gets completed. Is Polyphony even trying? I’m a die-hard Sony fan, but this makes me think the Forza franchise wins.

    First! lol…just had to do that. Looks good, but im a GT User (read:fanboy) so im patiently waiting. Gran Turismo set the bar and i think it will raise to astronomical heights when it comes out for PS3

    i’ve always been a GT user too, but forza 3 does look undeniably sick. and seeing as how i got a 360 as a present i’ll be buying it when it comes out.. just gotta hope i don’t get that dam red light of death or watever it is..

    I’ve been a fan of the GT series ever since it came out (it’s what got me into cars as well as the playstation itself), however Forza 3 looks especially sick in its own right. Not to mention the level of customization that the previous one offered couldn’t be beaten. It’s almost making me consider the xBox. Almost.

    By the way, I love that the people who make racing videos can’t get enough of Pendulum. They’re awesome too.

    Big GT fan myself, Forza was always just a bit too soft and forgiving I felt like I was playing midnight club or something like that! This video shows that the next one will be no different, they are all over the grass but still powering along and the jump from the m3, well if you tried that in GT you would be spinning into a wall (much like if you had a labotomy and tried it in real life!).

    Never the less I do love forza and can’t wait until I can get a shot of both games roll on the Autumn!!!!!
