    The winners of the 2nd round fbFund were announced yesterday at a demo event at Facebook headquarters. As most of you know, vDream was fortunate enough to be a finalist in this competition, and although we didn’t win, we give huge props to the winners and to all of the other great apps that competed! The 5 winners are:

    • GroupCard
    • Kontagent
    • MouseHunt
    • Weddingbook
    • Wildfire

    Obviously we’re a little bummed that we didn’t make the cut, but more importantly we are immensely touched and sincerely appreciative of all of our users and friends that voted for our app in the competition (many of you even voted everyday, which is truly mind blowing). The competition was a great experience for the whole team, and we want to assure you that we will continue trucking onward to make vDream the best car-related app on Facebook.

    Now that’s just GAY!!! Sucks vDream didn’t win, but oh well! Just because you win some “main event” doesn’t mean you’re gonna be successful! Just look at all those American Idol winners…..WHERE ARE THEY NOW??? You don’t have to be #1 to be the best! vDream ROCKS! It might take a little longer to get those upgrades everyone was hoping with the fund winnings, but hey, great things don’t happen over night, just like a fine wine or that perfect diamond!

    I don’t understand how you guys didn’t win? What kind of loser can like weddingbook so much that they vote for it every day like I did VDream? I’m sorry but I have to admit that the other apps are just straight up stupid… the only reason they won is because they are setup to be able to rake in some cash. Did the votes even matter? Conspiracy!

    NVM! haha… the monthly users of the winners are well over 200,000 more than VDream… can’t compete with that. Some are in the 350,000 users range with us being at 14,000.

    haha I have no doubt that we had the most votes per active user. Just got killed on the numbers game! Which is really unfortunate! If VDream would have started back in the get money for invites days then we’d probably have a better chance! Keep sending out invites to your friends everyone! I try to remember to at least every once in a while!

    i have a problem, im pissed you guys didnt win. but how come when i logged in today my activity for consecutive days logged in was reset? did you guys reset it? i log in everyday and race so how come it was reset?

    Hey Robert, where are you from, and what time did you log in? After vDream was back up, I logged in about 15 till 4pm Pacific time, and all was well over here. I scrambled to hurry up and send my left over challenges out before 4pm, then re-logged in a few mins past 4pm, and my consecutive days was still right on. Maybe you didn’t log back in in time, thus vDream resetting your days logged in?

    fuk sake! when is the next fb fund? have a reward system for voting for vdream. like 500v$ everyday if you vote. that’ll get the lazy users up and running. and by next year we’ll have more users.
